Commercial EV Charging
For Your Your Fleet

Custom-engineered EV charging solutions for fleet operators. Capture every available rebate, engineer the depot capacity you need, and turn rising fuel costs into a competitive advantage.

Electrifying Your Fleet? You Need More Than Chargers.

Fleet electrification isn’t installing parking-lot chargers — it’s planning a multi-year operational transition. Depot electrical capacity, route-based charging strategy, vehicle replacement timing, federal and state compliance, and fuel-cost arbitrage all collide on the same balance sheet. PEC engineers fleet charging programs that turn rising fuel costs into a P&L advantage — and bring your depots into compliance with regulations that are already on the books.

Fuel Cost Arbitrage

Diesel and gasoline prices are volatile and trending up. Electricity is comparatively stable and materially less expensive. We model your per-vehicle fuel-vs-electricity TCO so the financial case for electrification is documented before you commit to a single truck or van.

Regulatory Compliance

California's Advanced Clean Fleets and Advanced Clean Trucks rules are already phasing in fleet electrification mandates. More states are adopting similar rules. We map your fleet against the regulatory calendar by jurisdiction so depots that need to be electrified first are sequenced first — and you avoid scrambling against a deadline.

Depot Capacity Engineering

Most existing fleet depots can't charge a meaningful number of EVs without serious electrical upgrades — transformers, switchgear, panels, and often utility-side service work. We engineer the upstream infrastructure as part of the deployment, not as a surprise after the chargers are ordered.

Stacked Fleet Incentives

IRA Commercial Clean Vehicle Credits, state fleet rebates, and utility EV fleet pilot programs can greatly reduce your capital outlay when stacked together. Our in-house Incentives team captures every program your fleet qualifies for, typically covering 30–60% of total project cost.

EV Fleet FAQs

Do you handle fleet electrification, not just property charging?

Yes. Our fleet engagements cover initial fleet TCO modeling, regulatory compliance assessment, depot capacity upgrades, charger deployment, fleet management software integration, and ongoing operations support. We work with fleet sizes from 10 vehicles to multi-hundred-vehicle, multi-depot programs.

What's involved in upgrading a depot for fleet charging?

Most existing depots don’t have nearly the electrical capacity needed to charge a meaningful EV fleet. A typical fleet electrification project includes utility coordination for service upgrades, new transformers and switchgear, panel and breaker work, conduit and conductor runs to charging locations, the chargers themselves, network and software setup, and commissioning. We engineer all of this together so you don’t get surprised by infrastructure costs after the chargers are spec’d.

Can you help us comply with California's Advanced Clean Fleets rule?

Yes. ACF and ACT phase in fleet electrification requirements over the next several years, with different timelines by fleet type. We map your fleet against the regulatory calendar, model depot capacity requirements per phase, and structure a multi-year deployment that hits compliance dates without compressing your capex into a single year. Similar rules in other states are addressed the same way.

What incentives are available specifically for fleet electrification?

IRA Commercial Clean Vehicle Credit and prevailing wage bonus stacks. California HVIP, New York Truck Voucher Incentive Program, and dozens of others. EV fleet pilot programs, make-ready infrastructure rebates, and demand-response programs. Our in-house Incentives team captures every program your fleet qualifies for — typically covering 30–60% of total project cost.

Can my fleet charging project be financed through PEC Capital?

Yes. 0% financing through PEC Capital is available on qualifying fleet electrification projects, with terms aligned to projected fuel-cost savings. On-Bill Financing may also be available depending on your utility. The combined capital stack often delivers cashflow-positive month-one operations even when accounting for the cost of the EVs themselves.
