Description

The Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for coordinating all human resources activities, such as employment, developing policy, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services by performing the following duties. Essential Duties

  • Develops and executes a people strategy for PEC that scales with the growth of the company and aligns with our company values.
  • Administers all HR functions (Compensation, Performance Management, Compliance, Recruitment, Benefits,etc.) until the HR function can be built to scale with the company.
  • Builds a high engagement organization.

Education & Experience
Master’s degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar field preferred.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid
geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical
situations.
Computer Skills
Job requires specialized computer skills. Must be adept at using various applications including database, spreadsheet, report
writing, project management, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use
scheduling software.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. Ability to deal
with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, musical notes, etc.,) in its most difficult phases. Ability to
deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variables.
