Assistant Project ManagerJOB # 11
This position is a part of our project operations team and has been created to provide an on-the-job development path to becoming a PEC Project Manager.
This position is responsible for conducting field-related work as directed by the Project Management Team, to service all customers, and manage all supporting projects.
- Provide field support to complete onsite project activities.
- Manage all service-based projects by hiring and managing subcontractors to implement defined work.
- Generate Project Management deliverables for customer-direct material sales.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience
Bachelors Degree from four-year college or university; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
This position requires a valid insurable Drivers License.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to calculate figures
and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages,
area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and
Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
