This position is responsible for computing, classifying, recording, and verifying numerical data for use in maintaining accounting records by performing the following duties.
- Enters invoices for AP in a timely manner, monitor upcoming invoice due dates, monitor shipping/sales tax on invoices; ensure invoice accuracy; includes new vendor setup with W-9 and ACH information and monthly reconciliation of all vendor accounts.
- Responsible for reviewing, tracking, and uploading monthly expense reports and labor allocation. Also, responsible for entering banking transactions.
- Serve as backup for AR in setting up projects, sales orders & invoicing customers; monitor customer accounts and perform follow-up on payment status.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Accounting, or three to five years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses and/or Registrations
This position does not require any certificate, licenses, or registrations.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Ability to calculate figures
and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages,
area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and
Has advanced basic computer job skills including logging on to systems, ability to communicate by email, ability to compose documents, enter database information, create presentations, download forms, and preserve/backup important data.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
